I’m currently serving Spartanburg, SC and surrounding towns. Please, feel free to send me an email to see if I travel to your location.

  • Your first appointment is designed to be thorough, educational, and tailored to your horse’s unique needs. These set-up trims are much more than a basic hoof trim—they’re the foundation for soundness, comfort, and long-term success.

    Each session includes:
Slow-motion video analysis to assess movement and landing
    Diet discussion and nutritional recommendations
    Posture and conformation assessment
A full, thoughtful hoof trim based on what your horse needs—not just what the hoof looks like

Please plan for at least 1 hour for this comprehensive initial visit.

To help everything run smoothly, please have your horse caught, clean, and ready at the time of your appointment. Cost: $70

  • Routine hoof care is key to keeping your horse comfortable, sound, and performing at their best.

Most appointments fall under Maintenance Trims, which are scheduled on a regular 4-week cycle (or within the time frame I believe is best for your individual horse). Staying on schedule allows us to maintain balance, prevent flare-ups, and support long-term hoof health.

These trims are straightforward, efficient, and tailored to your horse’s ongoing needs.

Consistency is everything—and your horse’s hooves will thank you for it!

    Cost: $60

  • Yes, I trim minis and donkeys! Their hooves may be small, but they deserve the same thoughtful care as their full-sized counterparts.

Maintenance trims for well-behaved minis and donkeys are $50.

If your animal is still learning to stand calmly for trims, I’m happy to help! I work patiently and respectfully to help them feel safe and comfortable—but please reach out ahead of time so we can discuss their behavior and make sure I allow extra time for your appointment.

My goal is always a positive experience—for both of you.

  • Some hooves need a little more time, care, and strategy—and I’m here for it. Whether your horse is dealing with founder, long-term imbalance, hoof capsule distortion, or another rehabilitation need, I approach every case with patience, purpose, and a whole-horse mindset.

These trims often require more time and assessment than standard maintenance appointments, and pricing starts at $65, depending on the level of care needed.

If you're unsure whether your horse fits into this category, I'm happy to chat and help guide you through the process.

Healing takes time—but it’s always worth it.

  • Understanding your hay is a key step toward supporting your horse’s health. 90% of a horse’s diet is hay, yet most owners have no idea what the nutritional profile of their hay is! I offer hay testing services to both clients and non-clients, making it easier for you to take the guesswork out of feeding.

Using a hay probe, I take core samples from multiple bales and submit them directly to Equi-Analytical, a trusted lab specializing in equine forage testing. I handle all the paperwork, packaging, and lab submission, so you don’t have to worry about the logistics.

Once your results come in, I’ll help you interpret the hay analysis and understand what it means for your horse’s real-world nutritional needs. Hay tests can feel overwhelming at first—but I’ll walk you through it step by step, so you can feel confident in how to apply the information.

Whether you're balancing a special diet or just want to know what you're really feeding, hay testing is a valuable tool—and I’m here to make it easy and practical.

Cost: $100 (non-clients may incur a trip fee, please send me an email.)

  • Keeping your goats’ and sheep’s hooves in good condition is essential to their health—and I’m here to help make that process easier and stress-free.

Hoof trims are $20 per animal, and I come to you for on-site trimming. I work calmly and efficiently to keep things low-stress for both you and your animals.

Interested in learning to do it yourself? I also offer a one-time private trimming lesson, starting at $200, where I come to your property and provide hands-on, one-on-one instruction. I’ll walk you through the tools you’ll need, show you proper trimming techniques, and help you work through all your goats or sheep until you feel confident and capable.

My goal is to set you up for success, whether you’d prefer to leave the trims to me or take over the reins yourself!

  • Trip charge varies by distance. I do my best to avoid trip charges, but I can’t always do that. Please fill out the New Client Form with your address for an estimate.

  • Due to reoccurring last minute cancellations, I’ve had to implement a cancellation policy. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice incur a 20% cancellation fee to be paid at the next appointment. Clients with repeat cancellations with less an 24 hours notice are removed from the schedule.
